Agreement to terms
By using Prep-IQ (“the app”), you agree to these terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not use the app.
Health data
You may grant the app permission to read health data through Apple HealthKit. That data is used for app functionality (such as tracking and insights) and is stored on your device as described in our Privacy Policy. The app does not write data to HealthKit.
Food data and third-party services
Features such as food search and barcode lookup may send queries (for example, search text or product codes) to third-party services over the internet so the app can show nutrition information. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. See the Privacy Policy for details.
User responsibilities
You are responsible for how you use the app and for any activity under your device. You agree to use the app only in compliance with applicable law.
Not medical advice
The app is for informational and self-tracking purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified professional about your health or nutrition.
Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any decisions you make based on information shown in the app, or for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms. We may also provide notice in the app where appropriate.
